Recently, I had the pleasure of crafting an extraordinary itinerary for a small group of discerning travelers, taking them on a grand adventure through Crete, Santorini, Naxos. Our Greek adventure ended with the historic landmarks of Athens before embarking on a sumptuous Italian experience along the Amalfi Coast.

From the moment we arrived, we knew Santorini was extraordinary. The bright blue waters and stunning caldera views, left us eager to start our adventure. I’ve never seen a more photogenic destination in my life! Every spot we encountered was more picturesque than the last. It’s no wonder that the “Insta girls” and influencers flock here for social media content. Speaking of these “Insta” folks, I suggest avoiding accommodations near the domes. I met a couple whose balcony overlooked the blue domes, and they told me how difficult it was to get to and from their hotel, not to mention the lack of privacy. I recommend staying at the beginning of Oia. It’s just a short walk down the marble sidewalk to the heart of the shopping, restaurants, and photo spots, but you can escape when you’ve had enough of the crowds.
