This week, the adventure continues into the heart of Italy as we delve into the central regions: Tuscany and Umbria. I will spend some time in Tuscany this week because most people aren’t aware that there is way more to Tuscany than this scene. 

While these picturesque landscapes are quintessential to Tuscany and embody the dreamy Italian countryside vista that many travelers dream about, this region’s multifaceted layer extends far beyond.  

Yet, Tuscany’s beauty doesn’t stop at its hills or historic cities. Venture further, and you’ll discover that Tuscany’s coastline (did you know one existed?) is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. The Etruscan Coast and the exclusive beaches of Forte dei Marmi offer travelers a scenic escape to Italy’s serene waters and sandy shores, providing a perfect seaside complement to the rural and urban beauty that defines Tuscany. 

At Tuscany’s heart, Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, is a city where art and architectural grandeur reign supreme. The city is a living museum, where the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery house some of humanity’s most precious treasures. The city’s vibrant atmosphere, rich cultural scene, and culinary delights add an urban sophistication to Tuscany’s rustic charm.
