My Cabo Insider Takeaways from an Unforgettable Journey

I recently had the privilege of experiencing the epitome of luxury at two exceptional properties – Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Esperanza, an Auberge Resort, and a tour of Esperanza’s sister property, Chileno Bay Resort. These gems offer one-of-a-kind experiences and make an uncompromising commitment to elegance, comfort, and culinary artistry.

Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resort

Our first stop was on the peninsula’s San Jose del Cabo side. Tucked away on the pristine shores of the Sea of Cortez, Zadún is a sanctuary of tranquility and sophistication and part of the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Reserve collection, one of only seven worldwide. The beauty of Los Cabos has been carefully woven into each square inch of Zadún’s design, respecting the natural surroundings while providing guests with an unrivaled sense of serenity & tranquility.

Opt for a suite, and you’re assigned a Tosoani, or private butler, to cater to your every need – yes, luxury certainly has its privileges! Attentive and discreet, the butlers anticipate every need, ensuring unparalleled comfort and luxury throughout your stay. Moises and Guillermo took great care of us. They fulfilled our every request, including making dining, spa, and cabana reservations and printing (and delivering to our room) a document I was working on. For an added surprise, they even drew me an evening bath complete with flowers, which awaited me upon my return from the restaurant! Talk about surprise and delight!

Alkemia Spa

Having been awarded five stars from Forbes, the Alkemia Spa at Zadún is a haven of relaxation, offering a range of bespoke treatments inspired by ancient Mexican traditions. Our next stop was a 3-night stay at Esperanza, a 5* luxury resort that offers an authentic connection to the culture, cuisine, and nature.
