I’ve often been reminded of this incredible wonder, especially during the two glorious 3-week journeys to Italy and Croatia over the last two months; from the moment you board an international flight until you check into your hotel, you are required to present this remarkable little book to gain access to the past (historical places), bask in the splendor of human creativity (fine art), and the exotic (wild animals of Africa and mysterious culture of Japan, for example). 

This little book has changed my life in so many ways! Every stamp in my passport reminds me of places I’ve been and the extraordinary people I’ve met along the way. Without it, I’d never have seen a herd of wildebeest and zebras stampeding in unison from the elevated perspective of a gently drifting hot air balloon over Tanzania, nor would I have experienced the awe of climbing to the inner chambers the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.
